Catch Wallace at the County Fair April 15th. He'll be making an appearance, signing autographs and giving away a few Ladmo Bags! Look for him near the Wallace and Ladmo Stage at the Fairgrounds around 3PM. Please tell him "hi" for me since I will be stuck here in Indiana on that day.

A Poem for Wallace and Ladmo

The Ladmo Bag!!! This was the dream of several generation of kids in Arizona from Yuma to Flagstaff to Phoenix to even Kearny {me -for instance ;)}. What was it? It was a bag of goodies, usually sweets and stuff like that, usually coming from the show's sponsors. Every day there would be a range of winners who would be on the show. Wallace and Ladmo would interview each one for their name and age. Also, a lucky audience member would win a Ladmo Bag. Ladmo would go out into the crowd, and Wallace would call out the correct Row number and the number of seats in from the corner. What a joy it must have been for the kids the next day when they would go back to school and the rest of the kids would be envious of their good fortune.

My Ladmo Bag

This is for all you who wondered what was in the Ladmo Bag

After 25 years of dreaming of getting a Ladmo Bag, I finally won one at the Wallace and Ladmo Stage dedication at the Arizona State Fair in 1994. A dream that came true, my life is now complete. Of course, I have not eaten anything out of the bag. One day when I can afford it, I will put it in a casing to keep forever and to one day show off to my future children and grandchildren.

Wallace & Ladmo News

The Wallace and Ladmo play, written by Ben Tyler, who wrote the play "Guv: The Musical" - about ol' Ev, and the play about Barry Goldwater will be showing again at the Herberger Theater between June 1 and June 25. I saw the performance at the Desert Foothills Theater in March and it was great, it should even be better in June!

In the following available W&L items, I have no association with the groups that are selling them, but I have had good success for myself getting the items. I hope you enjoy the memories.

There is a coffee table book that is available about 35 years of memories with Wallace & Ladmo. I personally have two copies signed by Wallace, Gerald, and Mike Condello. If you are interested in the book, you should check out View Designs homepage.
